About Jan Moreland

Having lived in Austin for over four decades, I've developed a deep appreciation for this vibrant city and its surrounding communities. When it comes to helping people buy or sell their homes, I take a hands-on and personalized approach. Drawing from my own experiences, I understand the challenges of preparing a home for sale, finding the perfect new residence, managing a move, and ensuring all the details are taken care of.

I see myself not just as a real estate agent, but as an advisor. For sellers, I work closely with them to optimize their home's appeal through staging and crafting professional listings that stand out in the market. When working with buyers, I take the time to truly understand their needs before presenting them with suitable properties. I also connect my clients with top-notch service providers to ensure a smooth moving process. Additionally, I have extensive experience in representing buyers and sellers in ranch transactions.

Coming from a family with a long history in real estate, I have an intimate understanding of the region. I know the common pitfalls, what true value looks like, and where the opportunities lie in the market.

Before joining Moreland Properties, I graduated from The University of Texas and earned a Masters of Education, spending many fulfilling years as a teacher.

Outside of work, I'm a proud mother of four kids, three daughters who are currently attending college and one son in high school. In my free time, my husband and I enjoy relaxing at the beach or spending time at our family ranch.
