Wende Parks, a Texas native, attended the University of Texas at Austin, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Although she left for a few years to pursue an ongoing career, her love of Austin brought her back.

Wende joined the Moreland team after spending the past several years as head of marketing and sales for several Austin condominium projects. Her knowledge of the condo development process, from start to finish, makes her a valuable resource for anyone looking at purchasing or selling a condo in the Central Austin and Downtown area.

Wende feels that the purchase and sale of a home is one of the biggest decisions in an individual's life and she therefore makes it her personal goal to ensure that she finds just what her clients are looking for in a new home or facilitates in the marketing and selling of one's home with the highest level of ease and professionalism. She provides her clients with the tools and knowledge to fully understand the Austin market, but also understands that sometimes there is something intangible that draws a client to a home.

When Wende isn't spending time on real estate, she enjoys spending time outdoors on the hike and bike trail with her dogs, Lalo and Lola. Wende is an avid runner who has completed the Disney World, Austin, New York City and the Boston Marathon. And in 2006 Wende has also completed her first Iron Man event. She currently volunteers with Dress for Success Austin.
